I think it’s very important to note that every blogger should possess the passion required to be able to put up amazing content. It all begins with content and usually ends there as well. The key step to starting a blog for profit is determining what you’re passionate about that you think other people can be passionate about as well.

Hmm content locking is not a good idea. If you have a high traffic website, it naturally means that your content is liked by your visitors(as well as search engines). So it is better to leave the sharing part up to the visitors. If they like it they will automatically like to share it.
My suggestion would be to keep a closable pop-up asking for your visitors to share your content.
