The Art of Blogging is just like any other art. With no clearly defined rules or boundaries. You have to create your own art by your own passion. It’s said that blogging in and on itself is an art. There are no pre-defined rules for blogging, just few conventions. Perhaps one of the most important aspects of blogging is Fresh content. It’s the oxygen that keeps your blog alive and kicking.
But then a more important question comes it mind. What to write about? Well, if you have chosen a passionate topic for your blog, you need not worry. The words will flow out on their own. And since it’s a topic of your liking your emotions will pour through the content of your article. Readers can always notice the personality of the author by the content of the article. So if you force yourself to write an article just for the sake of posting, its better to refrain from doing so.
Once you have decided your theme for your blog start posting to your blog and try to get into the habit of doing that at least once every day. It is absolutely not necessary that you post a long article. Even leaving behind a comment about a news segment from the newspaper or TV is enough. Consider yourself like airplane. First you move slowly, then you gradually pick up speed and then in no time, you are flying!
Nonetheless, regardless of how well you know your topic, you will surely need some content ideas as sooner or later you’re going to run out of fresh input at some point.
- Feedback from other bloggers is a good way to build up strong and healthy relationship. Check what other bloggers say about your field of discussion. You can find related blogs by visiting Google Blog Search or Technorati. Check out the current state of affairs. Comment on what you have to say about your blog to others. This way you will learn a lot and possibly never dry up of content articles.
- Searching for your niche in your local newspaper or online is also a great way to come up with new contents. Although you’ll have an almost inexhaustible input to keep you going for a while from your co-bloggers but it’s still better to have a back-up….isn’t it?
- Make sure that you join some forums related to your niche. You might come across someone with similar interest as yours. It’s a good way to build interesting discussion topics to write about. Also your forum posts will quite handily generate traffic for your blog.
So that’s it. Three simple and basic pointers for posting content articles. After all major search engines love fresh content and they are more likely to spider your blog frequently. Undoubtedly that would give you more traffic to your blog, and some profit to go with it as well!

I think this is your best article yet, Anubhav.
You know what, this guy has got tremendous knowledge and an unmatched talent of writing up articles in the most simple language possible. He can write excellent ornamental language as well, but I ask him to keep his articles as much simple as possible.
In fact this article has got an average Readability Grade of 7 which means that it should be understood by 12 to 13 year old people and that is an awesome number especially for topics of this kind.
Cheers,
Prasenjit.
Thanks a lot Pundit. But as you can see, I am unable to follow my own advice, being stuck with my 9 to 6 job. Else I would have replied sooner. Hopefully in future I will be able to give more time here.
And Thanks Prasenjit, I had no idea that you had such high opinions about me. Feels great to be appreciated.
Regards,
Anubhav
No worries, Anubhav. This is probably a cardinal sin in the blogging world but I always forget to sign up to get future comments emailed to me. So I didn’t know you had commented until a few seconds ago!
Look forward to your next article.
You have tackled an important issue over here , creating fresh niche targeted content is crucial for the growth of the blog the best way is to be a part of broad niche forums , because being part of targeted forums helps as a mastergroup strategy but the content inspiration is limited and this only helps for personal growth and understanding but if you need some quick inspiration for a post then an overview of a big macro niche forum will give more than enough post ideas to keep your audience interested .
Hey Rohan,
I am overwhelmed to see one of the most technically sound blogger here on my blog. You have explained very well how macro niche forums can help getting pot ideas. It is because of your technical knowledge and your power to explain things easily, that I love and respect you so much. Right from DigitalPoint to Indiblogger, I’ve seen you doing your part of educating/helping people very well.
Thanks once again for your comment. You made my day.
Regards,
Prasenjit.
I am honored , thank you for the compliments
It is infact a practical and useable strategy which Anubhav gave and I have actually been using it and recommending people to use it for long , as you can see we can meet and connect people from our niche on forums because that makes easy for like minded people to connect , like we did, and this strategy which the post gave is far more practical than the social media hype that most others are recommending . I will continue to use it proactively , just a small update , I am not a part of Indiblogger anymore
Even I am not using Indiblogger anymore. It is better to spend time reading articles on my niche on the internet and writing articles for my own blog than to get involved in bitching at Indi.
Thanks,
Prasenjit.
You two are hilarious.
Haha. I forgot that we have an active (but different from others) member of Indi here (just kidding). So PC, howz your experience with Indi nowadays? What happened to that flaming topic?
Cheers,
Prasenjit.
Oh, sorry, looks like I replied in the wrong place. Sorry to mess up your comment thread.
Thanks Rohan. You know what… I guess it was your comment “connect people from our niche on forums”, which prompted me to write an article on forum marketing.
I’m sure there is a lot to say at times of turmoil about any active internet forum and its members anywhere in the world. I’d like to borrow this line from a player about the Empire Avenue social networking game. It applies to IndiBlogger very well.
“As with anything in life, you get what you put in. Positivity begets positivity, negativity begets negativity.”
The well known flamer has graduated to outright trolling on peaceful threads (as per standard wiki definitions). Yeh sab chalta rahta hai.
So it looks like Rohan was right with his initial diagnosis after all. :p
But the good news is that there are new members and others newly active who are very helpful, enthusiastic and positive.
Ohh that’s very good to hear. Your comment reminds me to try out Empire Avenue, but what to do, I am not getting any time at all.
Cheers,
Prasenjit.
Don’t worry about it. Only join the game when you feel you can give 10 mins each day just to check in on your profile and do a few transactions. It’s a social networking site and there is much to gain by signing up, especially for your efforts with this website for bloggers. But it is better to join over a free weekend and make sure you get off to a good start rather than joining for the heck of it and ignoring your account.
My friend Anubhav has already dived into it today. Let me know his feedback. He said he’ll dig more into it and soon give me some updates.
Thanks,
Prasenjit.
Oh? I wish he had asked for a personal invite. Then both he and I would have earned extra eaves (virtual money) which helps a lot at the start.
Hi Pundit,
Extremely sorry. Had no idea that referral invitations were active for EA. Still learning the strategies though. Its really quite interesting. Thanks for bringing it to our notice
I’ve been a firm believer in the benefits of being a member of and participating in forums that relate to your niche and industry. It doesn’t make any sense to any business to be in Internet marketing and not be in any forum.
You forgot one tip- Join IndiBlogger.
Thats not something that I will ever suggest to my readers since I feel that IndiBlogger is good for promoting travelogues and spiritual blogs. It is not a good place to be for people in my niche. Thanks anyways for your comment.
I liked it. Don’t ever stop writing blog. Keep it up!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks Ankit. We’ll keep our blog going.
